At the gates of Castiglione Falletto, the heart of the Barolo area, on the slopes of Bricco Boschis is the Cavallotto Winery which extends over an area of 25 hectares, 23 of which are vineyards. The Cavallotto family have been producing producers for five generations and in 1948, continuing the work of their grandfather Giacomo, father Giuseppe and uncle Marcello, the brothers Olivio and Gildo were the first in the area, as direct growers, to dedicate themselves to the vinification of their grapes and the marketing of their wines. Still the sons of Olivio - Laura, Giuseppe and Alfio - continue to vinify exclusively the grapes produced on the estate and, from their transformation, they obtain DOC and DOCG wines: Barolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo Langhe, Freisa Langhe , Grignolino Piemonte, Pinot Langhe, Chardonnay Langhe.
