The Maison Salasar was founded in 1890 in the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude à Campagne sur Aude. Its vineyards extend over 60 hectares of surface within the perimeter of the appellation Blanquette (Mauzac 90%, Chardonnay et Chenin 10%) and Cremant di Limoux (Chardonnay 90%, Chenin et Pinot 10%). Its vineyards are located between 300 and 500 meters above sea level at the foot of the Pyrenees, benefiting from a better climate which guarantees the quality of the wine.
