"Scrapona" Moscato d'Asti Docg 2023 -Marenco

ORIGIN Strevi, in the Bagnario Valley, Scrapona vineyard. Vineyard planted in 1996, using the wood of the old vines present here. The soil is mainly marly, sandy, facing south-west.

VINIFICATION Carefully selected and hand-picked grapes. Soft pressing, filtration of the must, fermentation with natural second fermentation (without added sugar). Organic wine.

CHARACTERISTICS Straw yellow color tending to golden yellow. Floral scents, apricot, pear, tropical fruits, delicate and fragrant aroma. Pleasant and characteristic taste, sweet and never cloying, fresh, mineral.

PAIRING It goes well with all desserts, especially hazelnut sweets, amaretti and zabaglione. Excellent between meals in moments of relaxation. Also interesting in original combinations, with fresh cheeses, with fried food, excellent as an aperitif.

STORAGE AND SERVICE Store the bottle vertically in a cool, dark place. Open and serve at 8 ° - 10 ° C in medium-sized glasses. The evolution of a Scrapona aged even for several years is surprising.
