Made from only Sangiovese grapes, Rosso di Montalcino Caparzo ages a year in Slavonian oak barrels, 50/80 Hl. then it is aged in the bottle for about 6 months. Fruity, rich in fresh and suggestive aromas, it has good body, harmony and persistence and is well suited to moderate aging.
A wine with a long tradition, coming from the younger vineyards located in Caparzo (North), Cassero (South) and San Piero Caselle (East).

FERMENTATION: traditional.
MATURATION: 1 year in traditional Slavonian oak barrels (50 - 80Hl).
AGING: minimum 10 months in the bottle.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
COLOR: intense ruby red.
PERFUME: penetrating bouquet, very broad and varied, with memories of violet, raspberry and pomegranate.
TASTE: warm, dry, generous with good balance.
GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS: red meat, pasta with sauces, vegetable soups, mature cheeses.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18 ° C, better if uncorked 1 - 2 hours before serving.
