Roberto Mazzi

Negrar | Veneto

The Mazzi farm, owned by the family since the early 1900s, has its headquarters in the hills of Negrar, one of the five municipalities in the classic area of Valpolicella. Roberto Mazzi, around the 60s, after completing his agricultural studies, began to bottle with the name of Sanperetto farm, dividing the production by the name of the vineyard since then. The vineyards are located in the excellent hilly positions of Calcarole, Castel, Poiega, Sanperetto and Villa. The vinification of the grapes distinguished by single "terroir" offers an extraordinary overview of Valpolicella where the small nuances can be found right from the perfume of the individual wines. The location in the "historic" area, now known as classic, does the rest! Currently the farm is personally run by his sons Stefano and Antonio who, combining tradition and innovation, produce fine and elegant wines, perfect ambassadors of their territory.
