Born in Beaujolais, Jean-François Coquard represents the 13th generation of winemakers. After the Masters in Oenology at the prestigious University of Bourgogne and after a harvest at the Hospices de Beaune he moved to Italy in the Oltrepò Pavese in Tenuta Mazzolino. Through his Burgundian sensibility, in the 15 years in which he managed all the oenological part, he created fine and elegant wines, maximizing the "terroir" of this Lombard area. In 2014 he realized his dream of having his own company and returned to Chessy, in the south of Beaujolais, he created JFC Vins where, from the first harvest, his wines were characterized by finesse and elegance by placing it among the rising stars of the appellation.
