This historic blend, obtained from a blend of the three most traditional varieties grown in Terlano, namely Pinot bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon, has been produced since the cellar was founded, and is an extremely structured wine. Pinot Blanc - the variety present in the highest percentage - gives it freshness and good acidity, while Chardonnay gives it softness and warmth, and Sauvignon Blanc adds its refined aromatic characteristics to the blend
Color: sparkling straw yellow with green shades
Aroma: The classic Terlaner stands out above all for the bouquet of green apple and white peach, but also for a refined shade of lemon balm and mint.
Taste: The aroma of peach is clearly felt on the palate, which gives this wine a lot of liveliness, but also a marked softness. The organoleptic profile, very articulated, springs from a game between freshness and mineral taste, embellished by a very prolonged aftertaste.
Traditionally, the Terlaner blend goes perfectly with the Terlano wine soup, but also goes very well with white raw asparagus salads, or with typical Italian dishes such as pizza or pasta with tomato sauce, rosemary focaccia or the penne all'arrabbiata, Parmesan cheese and fresh pecorino. It also goes well with classic South Tyrolean recipes, such as speck canederli or sausage with sauerkraut, turkey breast with root vegetables or a delicate veal roast.
