Composed of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay, it has been defined as a "multi-millésimé" Champagne. In its cuvée, at least four great vintages of previous vintages from the "Vins de Réserve ”. This cuvée is the embodiment of the Louis Roederer style. The Brut Premier cuvée is made up of 3 Champagne grape varieties from more than 40 different crus. It is an assembly of 6 years of harvests of which a part comes from the Louis Roederer reserve wine collection aged for several years in oak vats. The maturation takes place on average for 3 years in the cellars, to which is added a rest of 6 months after disgorgement, to perfect its maturity. The assembly involves the use of 40% of Pinot Noir, 40% of Chardonnay, 20% of Pinot Meunier and 5% of wines vinified in wood (oak barrels) with weekly bâtonnage, embellished with 10% of reserve wines anati in wood. Malolactic fermentation is partial and the final dosage is adapted to each thousandth, between 10 and 11 g / l. COLOR: Pale and vivid gold, an exuberant and evanescent white foam; very subtle, full and persistent perlage. NOSE: Intense aroma, of great distinction, with hints of mugwort, incense and laurel, notes of lime, musk and honey. MOUTH: Harmonious and pleasant flavor, with an elegant base of toasted almond and ripe rennet apple that lingers for a long time in the mouth.
