The considerable thermal excursion favors expressiveness and aromaticity. A light and fresh wine with herbaceous and citrus aromas. Elegant with a pleasant acidity.
Founded in the early 1960s, this company is now led by Marek Vybíral together with his family. Krásná Horá means beautiful mountain: the winery is located in Starý Poddvorov, in a historical area of Czech wine, with evidence of the wine-making activity of Cistercian monks dating back to the 13th century. We are in the extreme southeast of the Czech Republic, in Moravia. Here the Vybíral lead their vines in a rather cold climatic context, considering that the area is located roughly on the same parallel as Alsace and Burgundy, producing wines with a strong aromatic momentum and a marked freshness. In the approximately 5 hectares cultivated with a sustainable approach, combining organic practices with biodynamic methods, the grapes grow and then vinified by conducting spontaneous fermentations and adding very little sulfur. The company's focus is on Pinot Noir, the favorite grape of the Vybíral.
