Don Papa 10 y.o., a new product from the distillery, has aged 10 years, instead of 7 years, in American oak barrels. It is a dark colored rum, with aromas of cocoa, wood, and dried fruit. Produced in limited numbers, compared to Don Papa 7 years has a gradation of slightly higher, 43 °.
Don Papa Rum draws his name from Pope Isio, great revolutionary hero in the war of liberation of the Philippines from the Spanish domination. His legendary energy and indomitable spirit survive in every bottle that bears his name today
Don Papa Rum is produced, aged and bottled on the island of Negros, the most important sugar cane production area in the Philippines. This beautiful island, characterized by rugged mountain ranges, large white beaches and impenetrable lush jungles, thanks to its volcanic soil produces one of the sweetest and most sweet cane sugar in the world.
