Made from old Single Malt reserves produced before the distillery closed (1993 to 2003). Tullibardine 25 Years is made from whiskey aged in ex-sherry casks. Surprisingly, the whiskey reveals very few barrel notes for its 25 years. Instead, intriguing aromas of chocolate-covered orange peel with delicate notes of vanilla and Toffee stand out. The palate is creamy and enveloping, filling the mouth with hints of cream, roasted banana and spices that accompany the long, intense finish.
Located in Blackford, at the entrance to Highland, Tullibardine Distillery is one of the very few independent Single Malt Scotch Whisky producers. In fact, the distillery was purchased in 2011 by the Picard family, who wanted to preserve Tullibardine's craft tradition. Today Tullibardine Distillery is one of the very few in Scotland to distill, mature and bottle its single malts on site, giving the team complete control over all production processes.
