Champagne Extra Brut 1er crü "Le Nid d'Agace" 2014 - Monmarthe
Visual aspect : very nice golden yellow, a fine and persistent bubble
Nose : fruity nose, peach aroma
In the mouth : an aromatic complexity, based on white fruit aromas. A length, lively, precise, with a strong potential.
Exposure : This 90 ares parcel, on the lower part of the Montagne de Reims, has a North-East exposure. On this soil, in geological millefeuille, the two main grape varieties mix together: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Naturally, we create a vintage of assembly resulting from the same parcel.
Remember 2014 : A confusing year! The fall and winter were particularly mild and rainy. But the year remains marked by a brutal and contrasting alternation in weather conditions. 2014, is ranked in the top three years, where the weight of the grapes is the highest. Thus, a selection of the best grapes creates this vintage. • 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay • No malactic fermentation - Aged in oak barrels for nearly 8 months. • Maturation on lees for a minimum of six years in a specific cellar. • Dosage of 5g Extra Brut - with a minimum of six months disgorging.
