Champagne "Grande Année" 2007 - Bollinger
The most prestigious Champagne of the Maison Bollinger is produced only in years that reach a perfect balance: it is Bollinger's interpretation of an exceptional vintage.
70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay 14 crus: mostly Aÿ and Verzenay for Pinot Noir, Cramant and Oger for Chardonnay, for a total of 91% of Grands Crus and 9% of Premiers Crus
COLOR: A garment delicately colored with golden reflections, witness of the maturity of the wine but also of the Bollinger winemaking methods
BOUQUET: A first hint of fresh almond then aromas of fruit with pulp that recall yellow peach and mango; Toasted and grilled notes accompanied by touches of dried citrus fruits and pink grapefruit
TASTE: A great aromatic breadth with honeyed aromas and a chalky consistency; notes of candied lemon and pleasant bitter facets in the finish that bring great freshness
COMBINATIONS: Foie gras fresh or sautéed in a pan, grilled fish or in sauce, lobster, roast lamb or veal, parmesan or aged cheese. It is the meal champagne par excellence
