The Gruber family has been working the vineyard since 1814, although until the middle of the last century the wine was mostly used for private consumption. In 2012 the turning point, when the grandsons of the founder the brothers Ewald, winemaker, Maria, the commercial and Christian who follows the vineyards, decide to change the register, with a process towards quality in all its passages, from the conversion of all the vines organic, separate vinification of individual plots with the motto: "quality not quantity"! This is the philosophy of the Gruber, one of the greatest interpreters of the Weinviertel, which despite being a very large area, finds in the small village of Röschitz one of the best qualitative results, which with the 2016 vintage will see all its wines certified by organic farming.
