Bouquet: earthy with a striking red cherry soul

Taste: on the palate it has a very round and fluid sensation, with a fleshy fruit and tannins with a homogeneous structure. A savory and enveloping finish that pleases a lot.

It was the beginning of 1965, when David Lett, just 25 years old, moved to Oregon with 3,000 cuttings: he was determined to demonstrate that Pinot Noir could be successfully grown outside of Burgundy. Thus was born the first Pinot Noir vine in Oregon and the first Pinot Gris in America! In 1966, together with his wife Diana, he bought land in the Dundee Hills, 50 km from Portland and in 1970 he bottled his first wine. However, it was in 1975 that Eyrie V. rose to the headlines when she participated in two important competitions in France making the Oregon wine world known. Since 2005, Jason Lett has managed the company by combining the spirit of innovation with respect for tradition. Agriculture and certified organic wines, 5 different Sisters vineyards, The Eyrie, Outcrop, Roland Green consecrate Eyrie as one of the major wine interpreters in Oregon and the United States.
