The Rocche dell’Annunziata are certainly one of the most coveted Geographical Mention in La Morra. A rather homogeneous cru, mainly exposed to the south-east, between La Morra and the Annunziata district. Characteristic of the land is the presence of crushed stone (hence the name "Rocche") which drains the water well. The Rocche give Barolo with soft tannins, more concentrated wines with intense hints of fruit, always balanced and elegant.

Vinification: maceration with the skins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 20 days. During this period there was a very soft extraction accompanied by daily pumping over. After racking the malolactic fermentation took place in steel tanks. Subsequently the wine was placed in barriques, 30% new and 70% second and third passage, where it rested for a total of 24 months. After decanting in stainless steel tanks, the wine was bottled for a further refinement of over two and a half years. Color: ruby with good intensity and light garnet notes. Bouquet: penetrating and enveloping with a great aromatic boost, where notes of cut flowers, hay and sweet spices prevail over the classic red fruits. Taste: structured and noble, vigor and fullness are accompanied by flavor and minerality. The excellent terroir and particular microclimate give it a unique complexity. Serving temperature: 16 ° -18 °. It is pleasant to experience the evolution of aromas as the wine heats up in the glass. Evolution: admittedly austere, where the soft and sweet notes grow over time giving great complexity and enjoyment, as well as remarkable longevity.
