The barolo "meriame" is produced with grapes that come exclusively from the "meriame" cru and from a vineyard of about 70 years old. Selection of grapes in the vineyard, harvested exclusively in 20kg crates brought directly to the cellar where further selection is made on treadmills. Vinification in conical steel vats keeping the various particles of the old vine separate so as to closely follow their evolution. The wine is slowly aged for 24 months, partly in large Slavonian oak barrels and partly in French oak tonneaux and then assembled at the end of aging.
