Among the pioneers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in California, in the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, DeLoach has continued to experiment and perfect the best soil and substrate combinations with different clones for over 30 years. Among the first American companies certified organic with the acquisition by the Boisset family in 2003, it began a process of transferring the Burgundian knowledge above all with a view to revitalizing the soil and at the same time to obtaining wines that are the result of its terroir . In fact, Brian Maloney, the winery's young winemaker, has a single motto: "terroir show first". Certified organic in 2008 and biodynamic in 2009, the company began, in full French style, the vinification of the individual terroirs, from Maboroshi to Green Valley up to Pennacchio, in search of the maximum expressions of Pinot Noir. De Loach is today a perfect ambassador of Californian enology with fine and elegant wines with great depth and longevity.
