Karasi Areni Noir 2021 - Zorah

Zorik Gharibian, an Armenian raised and educated in Italy between Venice and Milan, has decided to invest heart and soul in his true passion: wine. Thus Zorah was born in the land of her fathers to create unique wines that tell of her modern ethics but with deep traditional roots. The Zorah vineyards are planted in a "special" place surrounded by spectacular, often snow-capped mountains, at 1400 meters above sea level and a few steps from the oldest of the "wine" sites, a 6,100-year-old cellar. Located in the small rural village of Rind, in the heart of Yeghegnadzor, the Armenian region most suited to the production of elegant and thick wines at the same time. Karasì is made only from Areni Noir grapes, an autochthonous Armenian grape, and is vinified 40% in steel tanks, 30% in Karas (Armenian amphorae), 20% in small French wooden barrels and 10% in large wooden barrels Armenian: a fine and elegant wine, mirror of his land.
