6 Bottles Champagne Brut "Esprit Nature" - Henri Giraud
The cuvèe is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, using a 50% reserve wine and refining in the bottle for no less than 18 months. Golden yellow in color, the nose has hints of pear and peach that mix with notes of vanilla, white pepper and citrus. On the palate it is initially fresh and then continues with mineral and biscuit notes.
The blend consists of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay and the cuvée includes a minimum of 50% reserve wines. Furthermore, since 2016 Champagne Henri Giraud has completely abandoned the use of steel and all its champagnes are vinified either in wood from the Argonne forest or in concrete or terracotta eggs. Champagne Esprit Nature has become the first in the world to be certified without residual pesticides, and it is possible to view the analyzes by notching the QR code on the back of each bottle. Finally, the sulfur level was further lowered to less than 40mg per liter. For this reason, today Henri Giraud Esprit Nature is a champagne that truly represents the style of the company: complex, intriguing, sensual, structured and very easy to drink. The nose has hints of pear and peach that are mixed with notes of vanilla, white pepper and citrus. On the palate it is initially fresh and then continues with mineral and biscuit notes. In addition to being a good aperitif, it is perfect as a champagne for the whole meal. The dosage, contrary to what one might think, is 7g / l. In fact, the term Nature in Champagne does not indicate a brut zero.
