Ilatraia is the flagship wine of the Maremma area of the Brancaia winery. Full-bodied and impresses with its freshness, precision and elegance. This wine shows a perfect balance between maturity and finesse. It is extremely silky and smooth with soft tannins typical of the Tuscan coast. The blend of 40% Petit Verdot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc shows all the beauty of this terroir. Not least because the three vines can ripen perfectly without irrigation. Ilatraia ages in half-new French barriques for 18 months and then ages in bottle for at least one year.
Intense aromas of black berry fruit on the nose. An elegant and well-structured wine, with velvety tannins and a generous and persistent finish.
