At the end of the 1980s, two Burgundian friends, Jacques Seysses, founder of the Domaine Dujac, and Aubert de Villaine, together with their mutual Parisian friend Michel Macaux, set off in search of a domaine to buy in the south of France, with the belief that in Provence great wines can be produced. Found in the Domaine Logis-de-Nans the right place, facing south, on clayey and hillside terrain with a soil rich in limestone, they begin their adventure by changing the name in Triennes in honor of the Latin "triennia" and with the prefix " tri ”in memory of the three founders. With the certified organic vineyard and thanks to its position, Triennes today is one of the best examples of viticulture in the south of France with fine, fresh and elegant wines.
