Golden yellow color, it is characterized by an unmistakable aromatic impact with a fragrance of rose and cloves. The wine is mineral, persistent and by its very nature is expressed in a fat and sweet aroma that immediately gives volume in the mouth.
This is the German name for the grape "Tramin aromatic" which has become established in Trentino and originates from central Europe and the German-speaking countries. The color of the peel is pink but a white wine is obtained. It is a grape of low production and therefore highly sought after and also changeable since there are several quite different clones between them.
It is important to identify the optimal period for the harvest, that is, in the moment of maximum accumulation of the aromatic substances before they quickly descend to insufficient levels. It is necessary to cold macerate the harvested grapes and then perform the classic white processing by fermenting at low temperature (17-19 ° C), followed by a stay on the noble lees for a few weeks.
