Very clear straw yellow in colour. When young, the fruity aromas of apple and plum delicately blend with those of wild flowers and honey. As it evolves, a distinct minerality, typical for this variety, emerges, increasing the complexity of this fine wine
Where the Alessandria Apennines border on Liguria, the 'Timorasso' grape variety certainly finds one of its best territories and it was here, with the planting of the vineyard on the 'Braglia' stones, that its relaunch began in the early 1990s. In July 2011, Val Borbera obtained the DOC designation of Colli Tortonesi 'Timorasso' and the DOC sub-zone 'Terre di Libarna'.
