In this Cuvée, made with infinite care and according to the most rigorous Ballabio tradition, the intensity and particular elegance of Pinot Noir vinified in pink are celebrated.
Name: VSQ Pinot Nero Classic Method Rosé Variety of grapes: Pinot Noir 100% Average age of the vines: 20 years Grape harvest: Traditional by hand in 18 kg crates Vinification: Soft pressing of the whole grapes to obtain and ferment only 50% of the free-run must at a controlled temperature. Aging in steel tanks until spring on its own yeasts. Second fermentation: Assembling the Cuvée using, together with the vintage wines, a good 20% of wines from old harvests aged in heat-conditioned stainless steel tanks to give complexity and uniqueness. Tirage with selected yeasts in the company and bottle aging for at least 30 months. Disgorgement and further 2 months of evolution before being put on the market.
