Intense garnet-red. Perfume of ripe fruits with a hint of small red berries blending into each other in a sweet vanillaflavoured note, lightly spicy with nutmeg. Full bodied and warm on the palate, soft and perfectly balanced
Grape varieties: Corvina 40%, Corvinone 40%, Rondinella 20%.
Vineyards are 40 years old on average and grow with the traditional Veronese Pergola system. The grapes are carefully hand selected and then placed into the traditional wooden plateaux where they are left to rest for 120 days with consequent drying and concentration of all the elements. Refinement takes place in French oak tonneaux for 30 months and further 8 months in the bottle.
