The excellent southern exposure of the vineyard, together with the clayey, sandy and calcareous soils, gives the characteristic taste to this sparkling ruby red wine: an elegant interplay of light and toasted aromas, red berries, black cherry and delicate tannins.
The Ebner wine estate is located on the sunny Renon plateau, on a rocky spur above the town of Campodazzo, in the southernmost part of the Isarco Valley, with a splendid view of the Sciliar massif and the village of Fiè. The vineyards develop in the southernmost part of this valley. On the sunny and terraced slopes of volcanic origin facing south, the red berried grapes grow, while the white ones prefer the more ventilated slopes to the south-east. These noble drops of the Isarco Valley derive, to a large extent, from a 40-year-old pergola, whose root system, kept vital thanks to delicate pruning, guarantees an ideal supply of nutrients to the grapes, even in periods of greatest drought.
