Siray is an ancient name in Sardinia, a Punic city, then Phoenician in the south west. In that area the Phoenicians introduced the vine which then, in a leopard spot, conquered the island.
The grape variety, which cannot be named due to obsolete IGT standards, has always been present in our vineyards. Here from a 40-year-old vineyard.
