Deep garnet red color with brick tendencies during prolonged aging. Very elegant perfume of violets accompanied by balsamic notes and cherry jam. With aging, the classic goudron of wines with character appears. It is the first house wine; the wine for important occasions, with great body, complex structure and deep garnet red color. It has a fine and elegant aroma of violets, mint and cherry jam. On the palate it is soft and persuasive to continue in length with a dense and silky tannic texture. Produced with Nebbiolo grapes only, it is aged for 12-15 months in 225-liter French oak barrels, one third of which is new, and 12 months in 20-hectolitre large barrels. the refinement continues in the bottle for at least another 12 months. Great aging potential (at least 20 years). It is preferable to drink it at 18-19 ° C in large-goblet crystal glasses. Pairings with roasted red meat and game are recommended. It is excellent to accompany the first courses of Piedmontese cuisine: agnolotti with meat sauce or with roast sauce.
