Grapes: 100% Aglianico del Vulture

Harvest: manual in boxes in the second / third decade of October when the ripening process is now in the crucial phase.

Vinification: maceration of about 10 days and vinification at controlled temperature in stainless steel and responds to a more “traditional” type and model of processing and type of wine.

Maturation: in natural volcanic tuff caves, in French oak barrels or tonneaux, for a period of at least 12 months.

Alcohol: approximately 14.00%

Organoleptic examination:

Color: Ruby red with garnet reflections, bright and impenetrable

Perfume: It has an elegant nose reminiscent of ripe morello cherry and plum, accompanied by spicy hints of licorice root.

Taste: in the mouth it is rich, full, well balanced, with evident notes of cherry, a slightly spicy cherry finish and with a pleasant tannins that is typical of the grape variety and traditional processing.

Pairings: Excellent with roasted red meat and game preparations.

Serving temperature: serve at room temperature, around 18 ° C.
