Location and terroir South of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet shares with Puligny the undisputed prince of all dry white wines: the divine Montrachet. This broad, beautiful hillside is home to two of Burgundy's finest grape varieties. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay flourish here side by side thanks to the complexity of the terroir.
Vinification / Ageing The grapes are pressed directly after the harvest, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The wine is matured for approximately 12 months before being prepared for bottling.
Tasting Notes Beautiful golden colour, visually flawless. Aromatic, honeyed with a hint of cask. No heaviness on the palate and lasting pleasure on the palate. This is a beautifully mature wine.
