    The radiance of youth colors the wines of Gevrey with a lively ruby ​​which takes on a dark carmine hue with age. The spontaneous aromas of young Gevrey wines are strawberry, blackberry, violet, reseda and rose, while maturity gives them a liquorice bouquet with hints of game and undergrowth. Whole and powerful, rich, full-bodied, a body and a spirit, the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation asserts itself on a firm structure, tannins which play on the velvet, expressing themselves on a very fine grain, without harshness. Pleasant young and to drink on its fruit, it is however and above all a wine for laying down, often for long aging, excellent for learning about vintages.
