Pommard 1er Crü Clos de Verger 2017 - Andrè Goichot
Pommard 1er Cru Clos de Verger has a deep red hue. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry or gooseberry and ripe plum. A feline and wild evolution is not uncommon over time. The maturity of this Pommard directs it towards leather, chocolate and pepper. A wine to be left to age a little to open completely: round structure, delicate and decisive structure.
Location and territory: Pommard: This generous name sounds good. He alone fills the glass and his mouth. Located in the Côte de Beaune, between Beaune and Volnay, Pommard, its wines and its beautiful residences mark the place where the coast slopes slightly towards Autun. This denomination includes 28 Premier Crus.
Vinification / Aging The grapes are de-stemmed and vinified in vats for about 4 weeks, thus revealing all the richness of their aromas. After racking, the wines are barricaded in oak barrels and aged for 15 months.
