L'Enclos des Domaines Edmond de Rothschild Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion 2016
A classic Bordeaux cut with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot base. The vintage already makes it perfect for tasting, even if it can easily age in the cellar for many years. An opulent, rich and elegant wine, which goes well with rich red meat dishes.
The Rothschild name has been synonymous with wealth and success for many years. The Rothschild family winemaking traditions have existed since 1868, when James de Rothschild acquired the Château Lafite estate. Almost a century later, James's great-grandson Edmond continued the family tradition, acquiring many more estates in the Medoc region in 1973. Baron Edmond Rothschild was created to build on the success of two other gems of the Bordeaux family, the Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Lafite-Rothschild. Today the "Baron Edmond Rothschild" company is under the control of the Baron's son - Benjamin, who, like his father, pursues a single goal: "to create high quality wines worldwide".
