Biancavigna
CONEGLIANO | VENETO - ITALY
It was born in 2004 from an idea by Elena Moschetta that involves her brother Enrico, winemaker, and the Cuzziol family in a wine-making project aimed at quality. The company has about 18 hectares of vineyards all in the hills and therefore can use grapes of great quality and potential. In the upper Marca Trevigiana, between Conegliano, the city of Cima, Pieve di Soligo, the capital of the Quartier del Piave and Valdobbiadene, the absolute protagonist of the history of prosecco, BiancaVigna cultivates its vineyards or buys some lots of grapes trying to bring something into its bottles of each of these places in an ideal mix of moods and flavors that in the end are the mirror of its history. Tradition and innovation this is the motto of the young company, which in just a few years has established itself for its rigorous quality and constant production, with very mineral and low-dosed wines. In October 2013 the construction of the new winery began, in Ogliano in the hills of Conegliano: a structure that will be in balance with the landscape, inside and out, the result of sustainable architecture respecting the traditions of the territory.
With around 30 hectares of vineyards on the hills, producing 600,000 bottles under its own brand, Conegliano-Valdobbiadene di Biancavigna is reviewed in all the most important Italian and foreign magazines and guides and is the protagonist in the best restaurant tables in Italy and in the world.
