Réva

Monforte d'Alba | Piedmont

New company in the Langa landscape, and not only because it was born a few years ago, but above all because it is managed internally by a staff of very young people, starting from the oenologist to the commercial managers. Tradition and innovation, these are the characteristics of a company that will make a lot of talk about itself. Réva manages vineyards in some of the most important crus of the Langa: Ravera in Novello, Lazzarito in Serralunga and Cannubi in Barolo. There are 7.5 hectares currently in production, of which 4 are planted with Nebbiolo vineyards; 1.5 to barbera; 1 for dolcetto and 1 for sauvignon. All the vineyards are organically managed and supervised directly by the internal staff. Réva has chosen a 100% organic regime for the management of the vineyards. A choice that translates into practices that prohibit the use of synthetic products, preserve the biodiversity of the vineyard, protect the fertility of the soil and ensure greater adherence of the wine to its territory of origin. Réva has a dynamic relationship with tradition: respect without respect, knowledge without museum. An attitude that is reflected in the search for a personal, new style, free to be able to communicate one's character within the extraordinary expressive possibilities of the Langhe area and the Barolo area.

Barolo Ravera 2016 - Réva
Barolo Ravera is a deep and extremely complex wine, as well as balanced and elegant. The aromas are spicy, with floral notes, red and black fruit, tobacco. In the mouth the acidity is always alive, while the body is deep, with a dense, persistent but velvety tannic texture.
