Produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes harvested at the right degree of ripeness to enhance its quality. The fermentation of the base wine takes place initially in steel, to be completed in small wooden barrels (barriques) for a period of 6/7 months until the draft. Maximum expression of the territory, Franciacorta Saten has a generously creamy froth with a very fine and persistent perlage that for grace and kindness could be recommended to ladies not accustomed to wine consumption. Sapid and at the same time fresh and harmonious, it is ideal for any meal but enhances its virtues with baked pasta, delicate risottos and both sea and lake fish. Franciacorta produced without the use of exogenous sugars from phenolically ripe grapes. Self-produced grape must is used in refermentation and disgorgement, respecting the integrity of the fruit and the enhancement of the territory.
