This grape is a cornerstone of the assortment of white wines produced in South Tyrol. Thanks to its distinctly floral and fruity components, and above all to its intense aromas, this wine has many favors, and lately it is increasingly combined with Asian recipes.
Winkl Sauvignon Blanc is a sapid, slightly fruity and mineral wine, which has been vinified in purity since 1956. This grape variety has been successfully cultivated for a long time in the DOC area of Terlano especially around the oldest farms.
Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections, very fine and persistent perlage
Bouquet: floral and fruity notes alternate in a very pleasant way. The scents are reminiscent of those typical of the golden apple and pear.
Taste: excellent balance between the sweetness of the residual sugar and the fresh liveliness of the acidity. Very pleasant and persistent finish
On the palate this Pinot Noir enhances the balance between a fruity fullness and a slightly tannic structure, a balance that gives this wine strong mineral notes and a great elegance.
This Merlot, which grows best in the DOC area of Terlano especially in the hot areas exposed to the south where the soil is clayey, is a full-bodied red wine and particularly strikes with its finesse.
This noble Pinot Noir grows in vineyards of medium-high height between 500 - 600 m s.l.m. Here the downward currents of air cool the temperature even in the height of summer. It has been grown in South Tyrol since the middle of the 19th century, especially the older vineyards give a structured and elegant Pinot Noir.
