Arnoux-Lachaux

Vosne Romanée - Bourgogne | France

Family house for more than five generations, the Domaine works its vines on the best crus of the Côte de Nuits. To date, the 14.5 hectares owned, divided into 15 appellations, are managed by Charles Lachaux, son of Florence Arnoux, daughter of the founder Robert, and Pascal Lachaux, who after running the Domaine for almost thirty years has passed the witness. Thanks to the great work in the vineyard, with an almost maniacal attention, and to the care in winemaking, the company has definitively established itself for the finesse, elegance and cleanliness of its wines: Robert Arnoux's legacy is certainly in good hands with wines that express themselves between tradition and modernity. His Vosne-Romanée and his Romanée-St-Vivant are “perfect” wines where every little nuance of the terroir is subordinated to the wine that represents it. His uncompromising style on quality is today one of the most appreciated of the Côte de Nuits and makes him one of the best interpreters of Vosne-Romanée, even if the vinifications in the Great Crus and in Nuits-Saint-Georges are equally superlative, confirming the stature of this young winemaker.
