A Chardonnay of great elegance with clayey soils that characterize the Morey area. The classic aging in wood makes it elegant and slightly buttery, with excellent aging potential.

Talking about Village for this Mersault is certainly an understatement, even if Monopole the clos de La Barre is certainly the emblem and manifesto of the finesse and elegance that Chardonnay can achieve in Burgundy. Very rare bottles, difficult to find, but which every wine lover should taste once in their life.

The main feature of this Chardonnay is certainly its great minerality, by far the most taut and mineral wine of all the whites of the Domaine Girardin. Aged for 14/15 months in barrique, it does not however lose its typical fatness and complexity.
