Poggio Argentiera was born in 1997 with the purchase of the Adua farm, dating back to the early 1900s, the time for the reclamation of the Maremma. In the original 6 hectares Morellino di Scansano begins to produce, then the new wine cellar is built and in 2001 the property is expanded thanks to the purchase of another farm, Keeling, located in a hilly area, in the municipality of Scansano.

New plants are added to the old and precious vineyards and today the company has 20 hectares of productive land included in the Morellino DOCG.

The company philosophy combines the work in the vineyard with the utmost respect for the vine and its production cycle and, starting from 2009, the management of the entire company has been converted following the dictates of organic agriculture, with the aim of seeking the balance between the plant and the surrounding environment.
